ARSENAL have rejected Palermo's opening £3.5million bid for Joel Campbell.That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim the Gunners are keen to secure at least £7m for the Costa Rica international.
Palermo were initially in talks with the north London club over a season-long loan deal for the 23-year-old.However, the Serie A outfit are now reportedly interested in a permanent deal after the Gunners put the forward up for sale.
Campbell made just four appearances for Arsene Wenger's side last season before being sent out on loan to Villarreal for the second-half of the campaign.
