Arsenal faced the Croatian side way back in 2006/2007 season,beating them 5-1 on aggregate.The Croatian champions have never previously qualified from the group stage in their four previous attempts – 1998/99, 1999/2000, 2011/12 and 2012/13.
On the other hand Arsenal has been very successful in reaching till round of 16 and has also made it to one final.Last season Arsenal had an unfortunate display of Football,when Monaco scored three goal on the turf of Emirates.Arsenal lost that game 3-1.However Arsenal showed some resilience, when they faced the French side in their backyard.Arsenal lost the game 3-3 on aggregate,while the french giants progressed having the away goal advantage.
Arsenal premier league campaign has been average so far.We are playing well but it is the goals which are not coming for us.Arsenal are placed in group F,where they will compete against the likes of Bayern,Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos.
