Another match and another disappointment for Arsene Wenger.Arsenal is going through tough period and after losing two consecutive matches,we are attracting more negative comments.
The match itself was quite a story as Arsenal saw two red card at a very crucial time.First Gabriel and than Cazorla had two walk away from the match.Jose is still unbeaten against Wenger in the Premier league.So,here are the things which we noticed:
Arsenal Gives Away Ball Easily
Arsenal thrive mainly on possession and it is to bad for them to give away ball cheaply. This has been the part of their game since the Season started.Even in today's match,Arsenal was too generous in giving away the ball.Arsenal just had 37.2% of possession while Chelsea had 62.8%.Arsenal defiently need to change this flaw as quickly as they can,it is costing them.Most of the teams like to play counter attack game against Arsrenal.They just sit back and wait for their opportunity to counter attack.
Costa is Disgraceful
Diago Costa received a hero's departure after he got substituted.One other hand,Arsenal fans booed him.Diago Costa should have seen red.Ref missed it the first time when his hands were all over the koscielny's face.Ref missed it second time as well,when he pushed Chamberlain.After the game this is what jose had to say about his acts:
He played the game how it needed to be played. I don’t want to think about it (the title bid) I just want to think about the next match.And I told the players now that I’m so happy because we don’t even know what’s next (with involvement in so many competitions).Matches, we just want matches right now.I know Jose likes to win matches but that statement is wrong.What can you say about this?
Rivalry Just Got More Intense
We all know Arsenal vs Chelsea is always full of excitement,aggressiveness and intensity,but the rivalry in this match got more aggressive.First Gabriel vs Costa and than Wenger not shaking hand with Jose at the end of the match.Reports are they both kept ignoring each other in the tunnel.Actually, Referee made it more interesting by showing two red cards. Wenger was clearly disappointed and here is what he had to say after the match:
I would not like to be Mike Dean tonight. Costa twice should be sent off. He hits him in the face in purpose. In every game he has aggravation and he gets away with it because of the weakness of the referee. We knew before the game he is only looking at that.
Gabriel should not have responded at all but the two sending offs for us and Costa staying on the pitch is a shame.
Arsenal Short of Players

We all know that Arsenal are going through bad period and recent injuries are making it more worse.First it was Welbeck and Wilshere and now Coquelin got injured.We don't know the scale of his injury yet but he may not play the next match for Arsenal.Red card to Gabriel and Cazorla means that both players will be suspended for Arsenal's next game.There will be some serious pressure on Wenger as he failed to strengthen his squad in the summer transfer market.We hope injury to Coquelin is not serious.Here is what Wenger said:
Walcott Has Improved
It is good to see Walcott making dashing runs and defeating defenders with his pace.He just needs control,confidence and good finishing skills.Walcott was injured in previous season,and it is not easy for a footballer to make immediate impact.On the other hand,Giroud's performances has been below the bar and he has miss clear cut chances as well.So,Walcott all the way for me and he should get starts before Giroud.
