5. Kolo Toure
Kolo Toure has definitely lost his touch now but he had memorable days when he played for Arsenal. He joined Arsenal in 2002 and left in 2009. Costing just £150,000, he might be Wenger's best ever signing in terms of value for money, as he played 326 games for Arsenal and took over from Tony Adams as the defensive leader of the team. Not to forget,he will always be remember as the part of "The Invincible" team of 2003-2004 season.
Without doubt the best striker Wenger ever purchased. Arsenal bought him in 2004 for just £2.75m.
If not for injuries he would have been a beast.Still his goal tally is impressive scoring 132 goals in 278 games for Arsenal. His final 17 months at Arsenal was exceptional and he received quite a hype for that. His exit from Arsenal was not which every Gooner hoped but his numbers don't lie.
Signing him from Spurs was a courageous move but the transfer proved to be a hit.Campbell era started from 2001 and ended in 2006.He won two league titles with Arsenal, including "The Invincible" season. His defensive work was brilliant and not to forget he scored in the UCL final.
Arsene Wenger grabbed Fabregas from Barcelona in 2003 for free.He made his debut at the age of 16,went on to play 300 games for gunners and also captain the side for three seasons. He was sold back to Barcelona for a fee of £30m in 2011.In my terms he was the classiest player ever to grace the premier league, with an eye to assist and score goals. He scored 57 goals for Arsenal.
1. Thiery Henry
This man needs no introduction. Wenger signed him from Juventus, while his carrier was in jeopardy.Arsene helped and mould him to become one of the best player in the world. His Carrier took hype in 2000 when his goal tally continuously increased.A staggering 228 goals in 377 games, over a few spells at this stage, is more than enough to merit his place at the top of the pile.Henry's combination of brilliance and consistency was stunning to watch and he is almost certainly the greatest player to ever play for Arsenal.
