Joao Moutinho is a versatile Portugese player, he can play as a defensive as well as attacking midfielder. The 28 year old is currently playing in Monaco. He began his career at Sporting Lisbon and was made vice-captain at the age of 19 years. After one year later he was transformed as captain. He moved to Porto before joining Monaco. Monaco bought him and James Rodriguez in a deal worth 70 million euros.
Arsene Wenger is on red alert after knowing Monaco wants to sell the midfielder. Monaco are looking to get rid of his weekly wage of 110,000 Euros. Moutinho has a release clause of 14 million Euros. Arsene wenger considered him as a replacement for Mathieu Flamini who is soon to be unvield as a Galatasaray player.
Arsenal was also chasing Mario Suarez from Atletico Madrid. Gunners lost this battle to Fiorentina. Mario has signed five years contract with the Seria A club.
